The 2011 ANZAC Challenge will, once again, be proudly hosted by Wasps FC and supported by the local antipodean community.

ANZAC Day is the one true occasion that binds the two great nations of Australia and New Zealand. It is in the spirit of bringing people together in remembrance on this day.

The ANZAC Challenge is Londons biggest Australasian Sports event and is a day a day of Sport, Culture, Entertainment and Remembrance.

"A sporting event for the community by the sports clubs of the community."

The event has grown in such popularity and over the past few years and with the 2011 amalgamation of the two oldest ANZAC sports events the ANZAC Rugby Challenge (est 1983) and the AFL ANZAC Cup (est 1995) the event is now named the ANZAC Challenge.

The 2011 ANZAC Challenge will be proudly hosted at Wasps FC and supported by the local antipodean community. This years event will host Australia v New Zealand in Rugby League, Rugby Union, Touch Rugby, Tag Rugby, Netball! There is the 22nd AFL ANZAC Cup, the 28th ANZAC Rugby Challenge and the ActiveAntipodean Social Netball competition with some great prizes up for grabs!

* Tickets will be on sale online mid March and will be distributed prior to the event.

ANZAC Challenge Netball Competition:

Times:

Registration & Gates open at 10.30am.
Games will start at 11am and be finished by 15.30 to allow you time to enjoy the rest of the day.

Draw:

Draws will be placed on: www.anzacchallenge.com
The draw will be subject to change

Elite Australia V New Zealand game:

· As per previous years, there will be an elite game held straight after the social tournament has finished

· Players for the elite teams to represent NZ and Australia will be selected on the day

· Players interested in representing their country will need to nominate on the day

· The ANZAC Rugby Challenge is held in Acton, West London with great hassle free transport links!

Entry on the day:There will only be one entry gate on the day. 10 tickets will be left per team in an envelope at the gate left under your Team Name. Team captains should collect the whole 10 tickets and distribute them to your players as they arrive.
