GRAND FINAL DAY - SATURDAY 21ST AUGUST 2010
Wandsworth Demons v Putney Magpies in the AFL London Grand Final .
The Putney Magpies have defeated the West London Wildcats in the Preliminary Final last Saturday to face the Wandsworth Demons in the 2010 AFL London Grand Final this Saturday. The games times are as follows:
Social (11am) - South London v Ealing Emus
Conference (1pm) - Shepherds Bush Raiders v Clapham Demons
Premiership (3pm) - Wandsworth Demons v Putney Magpies
Active Antipodean has been running the AFL London (formerly the British Australian Rules Football League) finals series since 2003. This year the finals will be held again at Barn Elms Sports Centre located just behind Wahoo Bar in Putney. For those who attended last year you will know what a fantastic day it will be.

Getting there: Putney Overland, Putney Bridge Tube and walk along river (directly across the river from Fulham FC) or Bus 209, 283 from Hammersmith, Red Lion stop.

With ICE cold VBs, a bbq and of course plenty of football action make sure you get down there this weekend.

We will also be hosting a short round robin netball competition on the Grand Finals day, it will be finished in time to watch the main game action so register your team now >>>>
Registrations opens at 10.00am, games start at 10.30am and will be finished by 2pm.
What you get;
3 round robin style games 2*10 min halves
Every team will get a 4th game, the top two playing in the grand final

1 Free drink (per player) to be redeemed at the AFL London Grand Final Bar
Cost: £80 per team or £10 for individuals
